Natural indigo, woven by hand
Vilamas Indigo fabric is woven by hand and dyed with 100% natural indigo using traditional techniques. The cloth is dipped and aired again and again, so the blue builds up slowly and gains a depth that synthetic dyes cannot give.
Because every piece is woven and dyed by hand, the pattern and the shade of each one differ slightly. This is the character of handcraft, not a flaw.
From the loom to the bag
We combine the hand-woven fabric with premium leather into bags and laptop pouches made for every day. If the piece you want is out of stock, we dye and weave it for you in about 40 days.
